Vlexem, She of Naivete and Cynicism, She That Is Time, The Ender And Collector

Usually taking the form of an otherwise-ordinary looking human holding a farmer's scythe, Vlexem is the patron deity of farmers, alchemists, and prophets, as well as the Goddess of Time and Death. Her domain is one of great breadth, and her manner can be dismissive and scathing, even towards her followers - but her role in the pantheon is one of great value and importance, and her dismissal comes from her divine traits of cynicism and naivete causing her to speak before she thinks, not malice or malevolence.
Usually not manifesting personally, Vlexem's hand is often shown through the sudden presence of sand mysteriously approving wherever her touch is felt. Most commonly, sand can be found where followers of the Vlexite faith have died, evidence that their Goddess has escorted them to her Palace of Sand in the afterlife.

The primary holiday of the Vlexite faith is that of Oath-Sworn Day; on the first day of winter, the faithful will gather with someone important to them - customarily a spouse, parent, sibling, or similarly loved one - and will they will each tell the other what loss they suffered in the past year that hurt them most, and then to balm that pain, both will swear an oath to the other to try to prevent similar pain in the upcoming year.
For example, if someone professes to their spouse that the time they broke their leg left them feeling helpless and alone, their spouse may swear to stay home in the event of such an injury again, so as to prevent that feeling from returning.
Once the oaths are sworn, each is written on a small scroll, and all Vlexite faithful gather in the town square, where a large bonfire is lit, and all of the scrolls are thrown into it, their contents forever secret except for the people concerned and their Goddess.
Once the scrolls are all burned, the town all retires to a local manor, tavern, or similar large venue, where there is a great feast, to celebrate the sense of safety that the oaths provide for the upcoming year.
