The Regolith Legion

"By blade and fist!"

Led by Legion-General Aenan, the Regolith Legion is a militia; formed and maintained for the defense of New Coastview against outside threats. Boasting of a storied history defending Coastview, both Old and New, the Legion accepts nearly anybody who can show strength of arms - anybody who wishes may sign up for the testing at their barracks, where the Legion-General will oversee a two-day gauntlet to test if the person is worthy of joining the Legion.
Backing politics only sporadically, on the rare occasion that they do, the Legion's priorities are for extending the borders of the The Greater Administrature of Coastview physically - but for maintaining fierce independence from other nations in doing so.

Behind their whole-chested boasting of military strength, however, the Legion is little more than a coalition of strongarms, footpads, and blades for hire; thugs that serve coin and the highest bidder - and violently racist against Sun Elves in particular. No Sun Elf will ever be admitted in the Legion no matter how well they performed in the gauntlet, and any member of the Legion who performs a task for a Sun Elf will be found floating face-down in the harbour before the week is out.
