The Forest of the Spider

Created by the Spider-Mage Nullxara in an attempt to curb the spread of the Boundless Desert, the Forest of the Spider runs along the northern edge of the desert, and goes into the Barrier Mountains.
The forest, ever since its creation, has been filled with all manner of creatures, most prominently fey - faeries and pixies and animals that seem too intelligent when they look at would-be hunters and trappers.
