The Boundless Desert

Covering the south-eastern chunk of the continent, the Boundless Desert contains Gran Solhom, The Underdark Rappel, and The Greater Administrature of Coastview, including its capital city, New Coastview.
The desert is roamed by mechanical monstrosities known as Anhydrut, semi-divine constructs who attempt to perpetuate and spread the desert's influence; as a side-effect of their anti-teleportation measures, in the exact center of the desert a small town known as Scorn has appeared.
Additionally, roaming the sands are a collective of people known as the Dunefolk, groups of nomadic travellers who are divided into many disparate Kin groups; known to be harsh to law-breakers but kind and fair to travellers who abide their strict rules.

Named for the impression given, when standing in it, that you are stuck in an unending bowl of sand, the Boundless Desert is hemmed in on the west by the Barrier Mountains, and on the south and east by the Bluecap Sea.

Additionally, while Solhom used to be the crowning jewel of the desert, its destruction in the wake of the Transition of Magic has left instead a vast, gaping chasm - and any who venture near the Underdark Rappel find themselves not coming back.
