Hullshatter Cove

On the shore of the Boundless Desert, to the east of Coastview and as part of The Greater Administrature of Coastview, the settlement of Hullshatter Cove resides in a small, sheltered inlet.
Named for the treacherous and subtle reefs, rocks, and shoals that reside in its waters, Hullshatter Cove is essentially impossible to navigate in any kind of watercraft - and so, when sailors attempt to sail past it, they nearly invariably wreck.
Native to the area is a large population of selkies - seal-folk - who have made it their mission to rescue as many of the doomed sailors as possible who wreck upon the eponymous reefs; subsequently, those wrecked sailors, bereft of ship and livelihood, often find themselves choosing to settle in the small village upon the shore.
Known for its fishing industry and vicious response to Umberlee and the Cult of Fury, the village is nowhere of significant political power or significance; by and large, the villagers want to be left alone to fish from the rocky shore.
