The War of the Sun

In the year 2120 RA, the ruler of the Sun Elves, known by the title of Sun Incarnate, declared war on the "lesser races". Marching a grand army out of her city, she lay siege to the nearby city of Coastview, and what would later be known as the War of the Sun began.
However, her arrogance was her downfall. Inside two years, Coastview, with the aid of The Academy and Whitelake, was able to start pushing the offensive back towards the Elf city, and in 2124, the Sun Incarnate was slain at the grand, marble gates. The Elf who would become her successor, seeing the ruler of his people fall, would decide that immediate, drastic action was taken, and cast a most powerful spell in defense of his home - a grand and powerful sheathe of sunlight that would come to be known as The Sun Elf Defence.
