The Sun Incarnate

The Sun Incarnate, rather than a single person, is the position held by the current monarch of the Sun Elf Empire. Forsaking any name, familial relations, or prior identity, the Sun Incarnate is upheld as a living embodiment of the Sun Most Holy itself.

Currently, there is no Sun Incarnate - the most recent one having been apotheosised into The Living Eclipse and ascending to a position in The Nine. Before their apotheosis, they were the one who ruled the city of Solhom during its time shielded under solar magic in The Sun Elf Defence until its destruction due to the machinations of The First Red.

The Sun Incarnate prior was the one who began the War of the Sun, attempting to lead a war of conquest across The Blessed Dunes against the outside invaders, as she saw it - a war that ultimately led to her death on the point of a spear, and her blood on the walls of her beloved city.

Until the grand palace in Gran Solhom is complete, there will be no new Sun Incarnate, and until there is, Solar Regent Rinha holds power in trust for the next incarnation of the Sun Most Holy.
