Manifestations of the Secret-Keeper were essentially unheard-of, even when It still was a living God. It was responsible for managing the secrets of Whitelake, all things hidden in the dark, and managing magic - and when the Transition of Magic came, larger disaster was narrowly averted because Abditus was willing to sacrifice Its own life and divinity, causing the apotheosis and ascension of The Living Eclipse, as well as foiling a centuries-long plan of the The First Red that would have spelled disaster for all mortals if it had succeeded.

It is said that, in the days before The Bargain With The Nine, the Lord of Lies would wear a powerful magical artefact - a mythal in the shape of a mask - that permitted It to wander amongst mortals without them remembering It. Rumours and murmurations about what has become of this mythal persist across Terultimae - but if it indeed exists at all, there have been no confirmed sightings in many years.
