The Living Eclipse, The Hidden And The Revealed, The Penitent Sun, The Resplendent Darkness

The most recently-apotheosised member of The Nine Gods, The Living Eclipse was, until recently, the ruler of Solhom, the Sun Incarnate.
After the destruction of Solhom, as part of Transition of Magic, the divine Mantle of Abditus was transferred to the Living Eclipse - causing their ascension into the God of Magic, Darkness, and Secrets.

Typically taking the same form that was their mortal appearance - a Sun Elf, golden-haired and fair-skinned, clad in kingly robes of a black so deep that it seems almost to absorb light.

As part of their new divine duties, the Resplendent Darkness now serves as one of the trifecta of knowledge gods in The Nonary Land, specifically in the context of knowledge that is hidden or secret in some form - teaching that the most important thing that can be done with hidden knowledge is to record it, so it may one day be revealed to all.

Additionally, as part of their own penitence for the war that Solhom waged upon the outside world, The Penitent Sun now serves as the deity of rehabilitation and reparations; personally crafting appropriate acts of apology and penance for any and all people who pray to them for an answer in how to find forgiveness for any crimes they may have committed.

Holidays

While there is no regular holiday by the calendar for the followers of the Living Eclipse, there is an irregular one, with no known public name.

Every day there is a solar eclipse, followers of The Penitent Sun will spend the entire time in which the sun is hidden in solitary contemplation - and when the sunlight returns to the sky, they will approach whomever their contemplation has led them to conclude they have most prominently wronged, and offer reparations in any way that they can until three dawns have passed.
