New Coastview Party

"The Path to the Future"

Known commonly as the NCP, the New Coastview Party is led by Ihan, and was brought into existence as a result of the diaspora of displaced Sun Elves from Solhom migrating to the ruins of Old Coastview.
Founded by an elf known as Eliana in the days following the Transition of Magic, the original purpose of the NCP was to facilitate a compact of sorts between the new migrants and the residents of the rebuilding Coastview - in exchange for the Sun Elves offering manpower, magic, and resources to aid in rebuilding the city, the displaced Elves could settle in the city.
Originally intending to assume a position roughly equivalent to an absolute monarch, Eliana found that the sensibilities of the city did not align with ones she had brought with her from Solhom. After merely six months of acting as the Administrator of New Coastview, the population called for a vote to displace her and install someone new as the head of state.
Seeing that things were not going as she had dreamed, Eliana resigned her post as the head of the NCP and departed the city, and was replaced in short order by Ihan - a Sun Elf who was gaining notoriety for being genuinely ideologically committed to lawfulness and moral standing. Within a year of becoming head of the party, he had managed to turn the party to his own standard of purity, and now the NCP tries to extend that same standard of moral fiber to the rest of the city, pushing a position of law, order, and trying to cleanse corruption.
